1. Agreement and service provider
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you and UVION (“UVION”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) for use of Uvion T-max Dashboard and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you use the Service for a business or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service does
The Service helps authorised users register and monitor supported T-Max installations, view device and bed status, manage configuration, and issue permitted control commands through the UVION T-Max Cloud Platform.
Features depend on a compatible installation, an active licence, a functioning local Agent, network availability, and the permissions assigned to your account. Some features may be previews, placeholders, or unavailable for a particular installation.
3. Accounts and Google sign-in
You must provide accurate information, keep access to your account secure, and promptly notify your administrator or UVION if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our breach.
If you choose Google sign-in, Google authenticates you and shares the basic account information described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google’s own terms. You may disconnect the Service from your Google Account, but doing so may prevent Google sign-in until you connect it again or use another supported sign-in method.
4. Authorised and safe operation
You may use the Service only for installations and locations you are authorised to manage, in accordance with applicable law, equipment instructions, workplace procedures, and all relevant health and safety requirements.
A command shown as accepted, pending, or delivered is not proof that physical equipment has operated. You must confirm the equipment state and the safety of the surrounding area before relying on a remote command. Do not use the Service where a delayed, duplicated, missing, or incorrect command could create an unsafe situation.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- access another customer’s account, installation, or data without permission;
- bypass authentication, authorisation, licensing, rate limits, or other safeguards;
- probe, scan, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or introduce malicious code into the Service;
- use the Service to violate law, third-party rights, or equipment safety requirements; or
- share credentials, tokens, activation codes, or other access material with unauthorised people.
6. Availability, changes, and support
We aim to provide a reliable Service, but availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security events, internet or vendor outages, local Agent failures, device faults, and other circumstances may interrupt or delay operation. We may change or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, including for security, legal, or technical reasons.
The Service is a management interface and is not an emergency service, life-safety system, or substitute for on-site supervision and manufacturer-required controls.
7. Intellectual property and feedback
UVION and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, software, branding, documentation, and related technology. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended business purpose.
If you provide feedback, you permit us to use it to improve the Service without obligation to you. You retain ownership of information you or your organisation lawfully provides to the Service.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties for functions such as authentication, hosting, cloud infrastructure, and realtime messaging. Their services may be governed by separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control, but we select and manage providers in line with our security and privacy obligations.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict or suspend access if we reasonably believe an account is compromised, these Terms have been breached, fees or licences have expired, or action is necessary to protect users, equipment, the Service, or a third party. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that dashboard status will always reflect a physical device without delay. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to the preceding sentence, UVION is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, or data arising from use of the Service. Any other liability will be limited to the amount paid for the Service by the affected customer during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country requires otherwise.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or our practices. We will post the revised version here and update its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected] or raised through the Support area of the dashboard.
